Hello, I’m writing this blog to help me record the dates, events and activities ( all the walks!)  that happen  in and around the gardens, ponds and fields surrounding Lletty Cottage  at Yew Tree Farm. This includes  the Brecon Beacons, which we look out on from our garden.

I live in Yew Tree Farm with Jim, my husband and our cat Rufus.   I am a retired junior school teacher and enjoy gardening, painting, socialising and country life. Jim is a retired engineer and partly lives in his workshop! He loves motor bikes, old cars,  heritage trains, renovating old machines  and making things.  We love living in the country  and enjoy watching the wildlife in our garden especially the birds.

We hope  that all visitors to Lletty Cottage will enjoy the gardens and the countryside as much as we do.
